The Kalam Cosmological Argument:
…In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
In our time, it is hard to believe in Jesus because His death and everything He did had happened 2000 and something years ago.
The prophets wrote about Jesus when He wasn’t even born yet. They believed in Jesus when He wasn’t even formed in the womb yet.
Of course they believed, they were prophets. But how much harder is it to believe history than a prophecy?
And we say it’s hard to believe Jesus today.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Had I not experienced Him, I wouldn’t have experienced this kind of faith also – the faith accepting & experiencing Him gives.
Normally, we would think,
ok, I need to remain in Him so I could get whatever I ask for in a snap.
But what does remaining in Him really means?
We cannot remain in Him if He’s not in us. We must first accept Him as our ONE TRUE GOD & SAVIOR. We must believe that He had sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO DIE FOR OUR SINS & RISE AGAIN. Thanks to this incredible plot written by God for taking place because through it we are clean.
1 Corinthians 15:16-17
For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
By God’s amazing, amazing & amazing grace I can testify that once you’ve accepted Jesus as your God & Savior, you will let go of everything. That is whether you like it or not because no matter how hard it may seem to you, it’s not how God sees it. He doesn’t think the way you think. He sees WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAAAYY, WAY MOOOOOOOOORE than what you can imagine. Hellooo, uhm… He’s God? (That’s the point! He’s God!) You will let go because you have to. The Holy Spirit will dwell in you. Your body will be the temple of the Holy Spirit & with all those sins still in your body, there’s no room for the Holy Spirit. Letting go of everything ungodly inside of us is saying, “here you go Holy Spirit. Take over my body.” Letting go is proclaiming that we’d already received freedom from our sins through the death & resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, & our sins no longer take hold of our bodies. And you’ll want & work hard to continue to remain in Him & His Word remain in you not to take advantage of His power to provide for our hearts’ desires but to glorify Him because you know He’s our God & Father. He’s our everything! Amen! Whoo!
The reason why one hates taking exams is that he forgets that it’s a means of measuring how much of what was taught he has been chewing well and swallowing wholeheartedly.
Instead, he sees it as an addend in the equation for the supposed equivalent of his intelligence in digits - his new definition.
Now the glamour of one’s shoes for tomorrow rests on the sparkle of a mark printed on factory-processed leaves in a font half the size of a fingernail.
He is determined to sweat and bleed for the mark,
and is inspired to cheat for his future.
He forgets to study.
